Sweet Chile Shrimp Skewers
Summer seems to bring out the Grill Chef in everyone. Even though summer temperatures in Florida seem to mimick that of a propane grill (whew!), we still do it! I think we all just seem to get addicted to outdoor life this time of year. The kids playing in the pool or drawing with sidewalk chalk brings out the kid in all of us.
This summer time recipe for a grilling favorite can be made during cooler months too! I just simply use my broiler pan in the oven, close to the elemnets on a Low Broil for 3 minutes each side. The sugar from the raw honey will blacken up and resemble grilling!! Yes, really!
So, add this delectable meal to your shopping list and make sure to click the I MADE THIS button and share it with someone who you know loves to feed his or her family a tasty, healthy meal.

1 Tbls. chile powder
½ tsp. Cayenne powder
2 tsp. Salt
2 tsp. Black pepper
2 Tbls. raw honey
2 Tbls. grape seed oil
Juice of 1 Lime (about 1 Tbls)
2 Lbs. shrimp, shelled & deveined

Mix all the marinade ingredients together and toss with shrimp. Refrigerate for a minimum of 1 hour and as much as overnight.

Soak skewers in water for 1 hour then add the shrimp - all facing the same way. Grill on high for 3 minutes each side.

Plate them up over Sweet Ginger Rice Noodles, squeeze more lime over everything and serve.

These are excellent to store in the refrigerator and bring to work the next day for lunch. Can you imagine the plate envy of your co-workers?! Make sure to tell them you got the recipe at NowGoCook.com (thank you).
