We plan vacations. We plan for our financial future. We plan what we are going to wear, what to say, where to go …. We plan out so much in our every day life. And yet, even though just about everyone eats about three times per day, we don't spend more time planning for that!

Often, meal time arrives and we look like a deer in the headlights thinking, "Oh boy! What am I going to eat?" Why are we surprised when it comes time to eat, we aren't prepared and we end up in the drive-thru?!

To us at Now Go Cook, people who love to cook, experiment and enjoy the results of the effort, it's excruciating to hear very dear friends in the world saying “I can't cook”. What?! Then how do you eat? Drive through all the time? Everything to go? And then I realize…it’s not about the emotion, it's not so much about not being able to cook, it is about being able to wrap their head around Planning, Shopping and Preparing the meal before you ever get to eat it.

We are all at different stages in our lives where different responsibilities are pulling at us. Now Go Cook wants to empower you, to encourage you. Preparing a meal at home has so many more benefits than a box of cereal or a happy meal. There is satisfaction, creativity, opportunities for families to pull together at a very important time of the day, the time you eat together. Breakfast, Lunch or Dinner time. Not to mention it is usually more cost-effective to eat at home as well as more healthy.
