Salmon - In the oven, Simple and Delicious, Hassle Free

Preparring fish of any kind used to make me nervous. It seemed like a delicate and tricky process. Once I understood the nature of cooking fish, I now love it for many reasons. Fish, specifically salmon, provides nutrients to your body like Vitamin D and Omega-3. Both of which most people are dificient in. 

So, don't be timid. Try this basic method of preparring salmon. Once you get this down, there are plenty more exciting ways you can add this power packed protein in your menu.

Ingredients

2 pounds fresh caught wild salmon
Salt and pepper
Lemon, optional 
Preparation Instructions

STEP ONE:
Inspect the salmon for bones. Then place skin side down on a sheet of aluminum foil. Season and cover and seal the foil. 

STEP TWO:
Place in a 400 degree preheated oven for 15-20 minutes.

STEP THREE:
Remove from the oven and open the foil and top with lemon slices.
Optional: Switch the oven to broil and place your dish 12-15 inches from the element and broil for 3 minutes. This gets the fish a little crispy on the outside.
